TOO MANY PEOPLE?

TOO MANY PEOPLE?

The world currently has over 6 billion people and 30,000 children a day die from causes related to poverty. Until recently China has a policy that families could have only one child. Read the debate link carefully. Then think hard about the proposal. Should families be able to have as many children as they want? Is this a basic human right? Or should people think of an overcrowded world, stretched for resources? This proposal does not say that families will be prevented from having more than three children. But it does say that if a family chooses to have more than three children it will have to pay an annual fee to government for the privilege.
