Living kidney donation by non-relatives

There has been an increase in the number of healthy people prepared to donate a kidney to someone who is not a family member, i.e.someone with whom no relationship can be established. This altruistic form of kidney donation from living donors is uncommon, but it is a growing practice in some countries. Will this new trend result in moral / ethical dilemmas?
